Goodyear Off-the-Road (GY-OTR) is a business unit of the OHT Division of Yokohama Rubber co. Ltd, Japan (YRC). This business unit is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, marketing and sales of these specialized OTR tyres worldwide under the Goodyear OTR brand.
The GY-OTR brand offers a wide range of specialized tyres for Construction and Quarry, Ports, Material Handling, Surface Mining and Underground Mining applications and specializes in the giant radials used in the mining applications. The products are also accompanied by services offered by the business unit, which help keep the tyres running at the designed conditions and derive optimum value for the customers. Both products and services are globally recognized by industry and customers for providing the required performance each application needs.
Designed by world-class engineers in our R&D facilities and manufactured in state-of-the-art plants, our tyres undergo stringent checks to ensure that the best quality is delivered to our customers, every time.
OHT Division of Yokohama, of which GY-OTR is a member of, is a collection of all the business units which have specialized offerings to the OHT market segments like agricultural, construction, forestry, mining and earthmoving, lawn and garden, and industrial applications - all recognized and adopted worldwide by the industry. The tyres are available under a bouquet of brands, all of which address specific application and value needs of our customers. This division collectively represents the business of speciality tyres with a comprehensive range of products and is a market leader in Agriculture and Industrial tyres.
The OHT Division is part of The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., which has more than 100 years of experience in the tyre world and has sales in passenger car tyres, truck and bus radial tyres along with a portfolio of hoses and conveyer belts under the 'multi business' unit.
