LAS VEGAS, Nev., Sept. 26, 2016 – Interested in lowering your operating costs? The Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Company has a solution for you.
Goodyear is encouraging MINExpo 2016 attendees to visit its booth (#6009) inside the Las Vegas Convention Centre to discover how Goodyear is helping mine operations lower their operating costs through:
- Trusted products, including a full tyre portfolio, retreads and a variety of uptime enhancing technologies, such as Goodyear Hi-Stability Carcass Technology, Goodyear CycleMax Tread Compound Technology and Goodyear Permafoam
- Worldwide support, including an international distribution network and global field support, to help keep mine haul trucks running
- Reliable services - including global field consultations, tyre surveys and footprint evaluations - to help end users optimise their operations
- Value-added tools - including Goodyear EMTrack Performance Tracking, digital tools and in-depth training - all designed to help mining operations grow their business with confidence
Goodyear also is displaying its latest 63-inch, ultra-large haulage mining tyre, the RM-4B+, inside its MINExpo 2016 booth.
"Robust, high-technology products like the RM-4B+ are critical to successful mine haul truck operation," said Eric Matson, global field engineering manager, OTR, Goodyear. "But mines require increasingly sophisticated support beyond tyre acquisition in order to help reduce their operating costs.
"That's why Goodyear offers global field consultations, tyre surveys, digital tools, indepth training and a wide variety of services and solutions."
This includes Goodyear's exclusive EMTrack Performance Tracking system, which gives mining operations the ability to track critical data about the performance of their tyres.
"EMTrack monitors tyre inflation levels, tread depth and tyre cost-per-hour," said Matson, "featuring a user-friendly tool bar for easy, efficient data input. Information that is collected and entered into EMTrack can be organized into custom tyre performance reports to help mining operations make better business decisions about their tyres, both now and in the future.
"If you don't track your tyres, you will never know if you're getting full use out of them," he said. "Goodyear's EMTrack system helps mining operations optimise their tyre investment, which is a considerable benefit. It's all part of Goodyear's ongoing effort to help mine operations lower their operating costs."
